Money Market Investments ("MMI") is an alternative investment instrument to Fixed Deposits and Negotiable Instruments of Deposit to invest excess funds at a more flexible tenure. MMI are money market deposits with the following features:- |

MMI rates are based on interbank rates for a similar tenure, with a larger deposit amount normally commanding a better rate |
|
 |
 |
Funds are invested for a fixed tenure and rate agreed upfront with both principal and interest paid at maturity |
|
 |
The minimum period of the MMI is overnight while the maximum tenure is one year |
|
 |
Deposits can be for any amount with a minimum of RM500,000 |
|
